Lee Courtright is an established financial advisor who has focused his practice on helping individuals understand change as they prepare for and manage in the later years of their lives. Lee often works with his clients’ legal and tax advisors in developing financial and estate planning strategies. These strategies are designed to respond to possible client changes in objectives and to capitalize on opportunities arising from demographic and economic trends as well as tax law changes.
As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Lee has met the education, examination, experience and ethics standards established by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Lee earned his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from The American College as well as the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation. In order to assist business owners with their financial, estate and business exit planning, Lee competed the Exit Planning Institute course of study leading to him becoming a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®). He is also a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®). He is an Investment Advisor Representative (AIF®) and Registered Principal with Securities America, a full service investment firm and member of SIPC/FINRA.
Lee established his practice in 1988 following a career in various management, marketing and sales positions within the financial services industry. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he earned his BS degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance. Through- out his career, Lee has received numerous industry awards and recognition.
Lee’s business philosophy is based on building a long-term relationship with his clients. He holds to a strict standard of confidentiality with regard to client information. He invests a substantial amount of time each year in continuing education activities required to keep his clients up to date on issues that could affect them and their financial positions.
Lee and his wife, Kay, a retired Stevens Point area Realtor, have been residents of Central Wisconsin since 1974. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.
Lee considers financial education to be an important part of his responsibilities as a financial advisor. He has conducted many educational workshops and forums on a variety of subjects.
